Unhappy windows movie maker
I make my movie in the movie maker - and it looks great - movie when the music does. So then I save the whole thing to the hard drive as a NTSC format.
I have Nero express 5.5 and go to burn the VCD and it all looks great- I add the menu page - preview the whole thing on Nero and it looks good movie ends when the music does - and I burn it.
When I go to play the movie on my stand alone DVD player it looks like this will work and the menu page is displayed I click 1 and the movie begins but the pictures now move to fast and finish before the music.
HELP what am I doing wrong????

The only time I had this problem was when I rendered it in the wrong format and Nero had to re-render for VCD.

Looking at MovieMaker, I see that, although it states NTSC, it is only a WMV. Nero is, in fact, re-rendering it. Nero is not the best for rendering for VCD/DVD.

Sounds like you will probably need an editing software to render it directly into VCD (which is an MPG format - MovieMaker won't do MPG's).

I use Ulead Media Studio Pro 7, another one out there is Ulead Video Studio. I'm sure others will give you suggestions for good, decently priced video software.

Hope this helps,

MBN
