computer won't recognize my camcorder
I tried to load my digital camcorder to my computer and after the found new hardware thing came up it gave my an error message saying " USBNTMAP.SYS" could not be found. i'm assuming this is a system error. my computer was homemade from a guy who lives far away from me. he loaded WIN ME on it and didnt give me the WIN ME disk with it. is there anything i can do without having that disk?

Editing of modifyimg them could damage your system. If you still want to open the file, click Open With, otherwise, click cancel." what do i open with?

JohnnyGo

Please stick to one thread...starting another thread for the same problem only confuses the issue

I merged the two

In the meantime it appears that the two are tied together...

I know nothing about ME but one or both of these files need to be in one of the system folders within the root directory of ME... have a read thru this link...might help
