Does your PC have a Video Capture card or facility?

These can be in the form of a separate Video Capture Card, a TV Card, or as part of the Video Graphics card (Video In/Video Out ViVo).

Without one of these options you cannot capture the video. With this option you can capture direct from the camera.

TV-out is just that. Out.

You need Video In.

You will need to add some hardware to do it. Either a new video card, a TV card or a capture card.

In order to bring video into a computer you will have to convert it from analog (VHS) to digital (DV). You will need a card, box or camera to do the conversion. Look at the products by Canopus----
