DVD With Nero
Hi there,

I've just tried to burn a 700MB movie using Nero DVD burner. For some reason when i try to add the file to nero it states that when it tries to convert it, the file is now over 4.5 GB and cannot fit onto a DVD?

How can a 700MB movie end up being over 4GB's?

I cannot chop any of the movie any further...

Any idea's?

dvd players need a different fileformat and the file is (re)encoded by nero to the right format.
this leaves you with several options a) uses dvd shrink to decrease the filesize somewhat.
b) burn it as VCD, or even better KVCD (on a 'normal' CD-ROM KVCD can hold up to 360 minutes)
