Advise on printer
Hi everybody,

Presently we have an inkjet printer, Epson Stylus Color 1520, and as software we use Epson Stylus RIP (Adobe Postscript Level 2) This is a wonderful printer that can also print oversize graphs, like posters and such.
This printer is used with Windows 98, because there are no downloadable RIP drivers for Windows XP. If I buy new RIP, then I need a new printer also.

Our needs are as follows:
a) impeccable prints
b) be able to print intricate eps files with perfect curves & designs
c) be able to print photographs

Since the printer is getting old and since I wish to abandon Windows 98, I have arrived to the conclusion that I need a new printer in the near future.
Is there a specific printer that can take care of all my needs, or do I need 2 printers, one for photographs and one for eps files? What about software? My everyday platform is Windows XP.

Your opinion advise and recommendation on this matter will be appreciated

Thanking you in advance

Hrisula
