Download Olympus C-3000 pics under XP
Hello Group,
Sure do hope someone can help, as I am having a difficult time downloading my Olympus C-3000 digital pics under Windows XP.

I've been to their site, downloaded the patch, but still cannot get this to work.

I have Camedia Master 2.0, which works fine under Windows 98SE, and from what I can gather from their site, I need to upgrade to Camedia Master 2.5 ... but their upgrade downloads just give me an error message, cannot upgrade.

Olympus sure does make this a tough problem - ideally there would just be one s/w file to download that enables the camera to work under XP. Perhaps I expect too much.

Try downloading the upgrade when the site isn’t busy – like late at night. Sometimes you get error messages when the download is saturated.

Does the camera show as a drive in Windows Explorer or My Computer when it is plugged into the USB? If it does you can download directly to your hard drive without Camedia.

Hola
Buy a card reader, it's much easier, not to mention faster.
Good luck
