I'd like to connect my Sony V1 to my computer and record a video directly to my hdd. I want to shoot a long video and my card (128x2) is just too small, and copying the video every couple minutes isn't any fun. Let's say that I want to make a web cam from my Sony I know that it's not good for camera, but i'll probably do it just once so I don't think it will broke.

Is it possible recording through USB? I hope so
I just need the software. Direct links appreciated

a camera like that wasnt made to be a webcam...

i really doubt there is any program out there can can use it for a webcam
