Photoshop/Premiere- Do I Have Full Versions?
Hi,

A while back my uncle sent me some software, including Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and Adobe Premiere 6.0

I already have both of these programs so I'd like to sell the ones he sent me on eBay. I'm not sure if these are the full versions though.

All they are are the CD's with the CD codes. No box, no manuals, no documentations. I know they're both unused/unregistered. I think he got them from buying a computer or something and didn't need them.

I don't want to ask my uncle if they're the full versions, he may not appreciate them being sold

I've tried attaching a picture (.jpg) but it won't work for some reason... I can email it to anyone who's curious enough....

Thanks for any help!

Hi,
If it's a CD and you have a Product ID for it. I'm pretty sure it'll be the full version.

Look on the CD and see what the readme or install help files say.

My first thought after reading your description of the software and how you thought your uncle obtained it was that it was OEM (original equipment manufacturer) software. OEM often comes as you described the software.
After reading this article here
I learned Adobe has never offered Photoshop( with the exception of Photoshop elements) as OEM software.
Call me paranoid or just cautious, but personally I would find a way to check their authenticity before taking the chance you are unknowingly offering what could be pirated software for sale.

I'm sure it's not. He's a programmer of some sort. I really don't think he'd A) have that kind of thing or B) Pass that on to me.

The CD's are totally legit. There's no doubt that they're from Adobe...
