Kodak Easy Share has taken over
I have windows XP Pro, and until last week I opened all my pictures with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Somehow they now open with Kodah Easy share. I can right click a jpg and get the box for choices, but it has Open with Kodak Easy Share at the top. Part way down it has just "open with", which opens to a box with four choices, including the Windows Viewer, but no box to check to make this my defalut choice. (I read another posting on this type of situation.) I really only want Kodak for dowmloading from my Koday digital camers\a. I want the Windows Viewer to view all my photos, more versatile, can zoom, and click and get a series of photos, and Kodak is one photo at a time and then start over. I'm afraid to delete the Kodak software, unless someone will tell me I can still download the camera. I have no idea how the Kodak took over.

When you right click it shows " open with " and shows you four choices. It should also show you at the very bottom under the 4 choices to " choose program ". If it does, click on it and it will open up many other choices. Then make your selection.
Hope this helps.

Kodak easy Share
Thank you Wimpy! It worked. I do worry why this happened. Until about a week ago all my pictures opened in the Windows Viewer. Do I have a gremlin? Thanks again.

You are welcome. Glad it worked.
No you don't have a gremlin. When you installed Kodak EasyShare it automatically set itself as being the "software of choice". You didn't do anything wrong and if memory serves me correctly it didn't give you any option.
