I'm getting an illegal operation window whenever I try to scan something latley. It just started happening and I need to get a copy printed of some important papers. I can't figure out what's wrong. I tried reinstalling already. If anyone can help that'd be great. Thanks alot. Oh, sorry I reposted this in this forum...I can't figure out how to just simply move my thread

There's a solution (hopefully) for your problem here.

Good luck.

Also with HP scanners when you uninstall you have to make sure to get eveyr little bit of the HP program out before you reinstall. I had to call HP to help me with mine once and that's how I found that out.
