Unhappy Sony DSC-P32
My sister got this camera for me last Christmas, never really got into it til a little while ago.

First part of summer all pics were great , no problems then later on in the fall here, I am gettin my JPEGs as huge files that take forever to email or transfer thru MSN messenger, like earlier pics are around 1.61 MB but later ones are 597KB?? I honestly cant say I know which is bigger though.

The other problem I am getting is the later pics are now being included with Video format. I have no use for MPEGs for my usual stuff so how do I turn this off.

Both problems occurred at the same time.

I admit this is all still so new to me, so HEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP! I just want a simple camera to capture my adventures with the girls and my offroading trips.

I have already said my next camera will be like this one but I want more zoom capabilities and NO Mpeg capabilities.

Sound like a setting has been changed...

Have you looked thru the manual?

Alrighty boys......
said screw the manual, throw some new batteries and start playing with it.

Made all settings either normal or zero or off.

No more MPEG, which is exactly what I wanted. Some pics come out to be 500 or so but its still a work in progress.
