Lexmark75 Scanning Photos

I'm trying to scan old "contact prints" into a My Pictures file (Windows 98SE). The first few scans sent enlarged images eg 150% to file but then scanner started sending images of 50%. Can't find means to control this. Did I change a setting somewhere. Lexmark Help not helpful. Grateful for any info on this.

Are you scanning one print at a time?

certainly sounds like it...

not familiar with Lexmark software but there should be a setting somewhere to fix the scan resolution
