media cards
Information please. I’ve recently installed a multicard reader and am using it to read a Kodak 128mb Multimedia which was used in a Kodak LS443 digital camera
When I read the card there are 2 folders one is named DCIM the other MISC The DCIM folder contains another folder 100LS443 which contains the photos
The MISC folder is empty.
Is there any significance as to the naming of the folders?

TIA

Most digigatal cameras create two folders, DCIM, Digital Camera Image Management (or Digital Camera IMage) followed by a folder that is related to the camera, 100LS443 in your case.
I am not aware of a MISC folder.

That second pair of folders holds video's taken with a standard digital camera.
I found a video file made by mistake in it when I accidently put the camera into video mode. Test it out by shooting a 10 second video of your pet then download that file. PS-the video quality is not very good.
