Opening files in photoshop
When I double-click a jpeg, the image opens in preview and not in photoshop. How do I make image files open in photoshop?

Are you using ME, XP or ?
Start photoshop, click file, open and browse to the image you would like to open.

Go to "my computer" right click and choose "Explore" when the window opens go to Tools>Folder Options>File Types> Scroll to .jpg and click on the button on the bottom of the window to "Change" You can browse if Photoshop doesn't show as a program to use. See attachment.

Will your computer play these games? Check at the link:

opening jpg in photoshop
Thank you all for the help... But let me revise the question. I'm using Mac (OSX). In the past I've always just double-clicked a jpg bfile for it to open in photoshop. Now I can't do that. When I double-click a jpg, it opens in Preview. Since I work with photoshop so much, it becomes burdensome to always have to browse in "Open" in order to open a file. And another thing... when I drag a jpg onto photoshop on the deck bar, that doesn't open the file in photoshop either. Photoshop starts up, but that's that. Still haven't figured it out.

Haven't used a mac in an eternity but some things stay the same for all operating systems and i knew the right stuff to google. Looks like a good extension to osx and also what seems a recommended security update, matter o' fact go get them all u don't wan2 be vulnerable, even tho nobody targets macs they go after m$ stuff.
