Thumbnail viewer/creator...
When I choose to view images via Windows XP explorer, the only images that I'm not able to see are the ones with the .thb extension. A message from explorer states that it doesn't know what program created the file with the .thb extension, therefore it can't display it. May I please get information regarding what type of program creates thumbnails or some instructions on what to do in order to view these files? Thank you.

The best overall program for this is IrfanView. Install the program and also the plugins that expand the file-types it can handle. Even if IrfanView does not recognize the file-type, it automatically scans the content to try to make the image viewable by changing it to another, or the correct, type.

thb is not in its list of file associations, but it;s worth a try.

Are you sure these are images and do you know their origin or what program created them?

From what I can find easily, that file type is for a KnuPix skin, or a Hijack Clipart thumbnail.

Thanks
All I know is that thb is an extension for thumbnail, and explorer wouldn't interpret it to a viewable image. From what I was able to find, "Hijack Clipart" is not a program. But I only searched Google.

Thb is a non-standard format that Windows Explorer and Windows do not support. Does IrfanView open it?
