Solved: Easy CD Creator
I've asked about this problem before but thought I would rephrase it & maybe make myself more clear. I saved pictures to CD's on Windows ME. Before I would eject the disk, CD Creator had two choices on how to save it. I don't remember what they were but I know I did not understand it completely at the time. I now have Windows 2000 professional, CD Creator comes up differently now, but I cannot view some of my disks that were OK with Windows ME. Did I goof up in the CD Creator method of saving? How do I fix it?

It sounds like you might have been using packet writing. The two choices when writing to CDR is to make them so they can be read on any computer or leave them in packet writing format.

What you might need on your new computer is either DirectCD or the Roxio UDF reader to read packet writing. The UDF reader is a free download at Roxio.com. DirectCD is the packet writing component of EZ CD Creator.

If you were using regular mastering software they should be readable on any computer – even if you didn’t close the CD. There is a chance you didn’t close the session, but you have to go out of your way to do that and it is doubtful you did.
