Black and white Photo with some color
Hello all,

I was watching Tech TV a long time ago and remember seeing that with Fireworks you were able to make those cool photos in black and white and then have only one section of it color.

I have been looking for a nice tutorial to show me how to do it, but cannot seem to find one. Does anyone know where one is at, or how to do it; easily?

Thanks again for your help.

Howdy

no idea about Fireworks but many image editors can do what you want...

I did this very quick with Photoshop...I selected the part to remain color then inverted the selection and desaturated it...

The more detailed the object you want to remain colored the more time and patience it takes...

I wish xgerryx...

That a present the wife of one of my boat customers bought for him... I delivered it a couple of month ago...

That's for catching moderately fast fish...it does about 120 mph...

but for $850,000 I told him it should do closer to 200 mph...
