Solved: CD slideshow software that plays in DVD player?
Hello all,

I am hoping that someone knows of a good software or program that will allow me to take my photos off of my CPU and put them onto a CDROM and then will play in my DVD player!

My question is, does any know a program that will do such a thing?
Does the DVD player have to be a Special kind that will allow it to run a CDW or CDR?

Thanks again!

if you just put the pictures onto a CD a lot of DVD will play as a slideshow by default - my experiance is the cheap DVD's work best - my brother has two machines one £30 and one £200 and the £30 one plays slideshows great the £200 wont play.

i have seen some post here with a software recommendation - i'll try and find

ProShow Gold - i have seen this recommended a lot here

You may need to test the suitability of media (CD-R or CD-RW), I have 2 DVD players and one will only recognise CD-RW, the other both.

As above, the cheaper playes seem to perform the best.

Just create a data disk with .jpg images on it, it should play OK with the "next" key on the remote changing to the next image.

I am sending photos on CD back home to the US from here and cannot test it out. Kind of stinks I cannot test their DVD players, but thanks for the quick feedback.
