Question Dig-camera problem
Hello to all,

Trying to use a Vivitar 3350 B digital camera.

I use windows 98 se ,on a Compaq Presario MV520.

I installed the drivers and software from the Vivitar disk, the computer was auto-restarted.I opened the the program to transfer the images.I plug the camera into the back usb port. The camera turns on then,t he new window reads-"New hardware found & windows is locating your new hardware".

The next window reads-"Newhardware found. The file dsndo 763 ax on Dual mode camera installation disk cannot be found-insert Dualmodecamerainstallationdisk and click ok. Copy files from: c:\\windows\options\cabs"

I put the cameras disk back in and clicked ok.The computer runs thru the same window boxes I have listed above.

I seem to be stuck here repeating this same thing over and over again.

Thank you for your help and time.

Try your Win98 CD. The cabs are on there. If your computer didn’t come with a CD the cab files are probably on the computer. Do a search and direct the installation to them.
