missing kodak file
don't know how to fix this. sort of a novice with everything. thumbnails will be fine and then just show up like this. i can't open them. i get this message when i click on thumbnail.

kodak easyshare software can no longer find the file:
c:\documentsand settings\bob\mydocuments\uncle joe at longhorn.jpg

the file may have been renamed or moved in your windows file system

Start>Search>All files and folders. Do a search for “longhorn”. Once you find out where it is you can probably use File>Open in the Kodak software or use the import to get it back in the program.

What seems to have happened is that the thumbnail is a shortcut to the picture on your computer and the source has been moved or deleted. Search will also look in the Recycle Bin in case it has been deleted. If Joe is in the recycle bin the easiest thing to do is restore it from the recycle bin – that way it will put it back where the software can find it again.

that worked with the lonhorn file. a few other pictures didn't show up on the search and i looked through everything. the thumbnails are right there in my entire collection section though of easy share, i just can't open them.

Is it my imagination or is Kodaks "Easyshare" software the most problematic camera software on the market...
