photoshop album 2.0 opening error
I hardly use my album anymore, but once spent a long time filling it, time lining it, tagging all photos etc,
i recently tried to open it and i receive an error message

there is a problem opening 'my catalog'
catalog may be open/fliesmissing/out of date or damageed
ODBC data source following error
(internal error:data not found)
attempt to compact and recover catalog?

if i click yes to this
i then get cat alog recovered successfully
and thena ' look in' box appears with catalog in
but i cannot open this further. -withot repeating the above

if i try to reload the album from disc it tells me i have
something missing
Installshield\engine\6\Intel32\ikernel.exe

it opened perfect a month ago........so whats gone wrong since? and ccan i fix it?

thanks guys.....

Save your album first, then follow the instruction.
The point is to try to keep your work.

Have a great day.

DramaQueen:

There is a 2.0.1 patch available here, if you haven't installed it yet.

still stuck!
I cannot reinstall -as i said in my first message, its being such a nightmare my computer right now. it wont let me run this (album) it wont let me download any software and now it wont let me install anything.
short of throwing it out of window, I'm thinking i've 'out grown' all my memory. could that be causing this error?

Do a complete clean-up
Go to start/All programs/Accessories/System tools/Disk clean up, and start there.
Then go to this link http://forums.techguy.org/t208517.html and read how to clean up your computer.
I hope that may help.
Good luck
