Solved: PSP Ver. 7.0
How do you crop a pic in psp 7 and keep the correct ratio? I know how to use the freehand crop tool but it does not keep the ratio correct.

Howdy

open the image
first you have to know the ratio...click on image then resize...at the bottom of that window it will tell you the ratio...make note of the number... then close that window.

go back to your image click on the crop tool then place your cursor where you want to start...left click and hold while dragging...

while your dragging watch the status bar at the bottom of the PSP window the far right hand numbers will be the aspect ratio...continue dragging till you have the crop you want as well as the ratio you want... You can move the selection around after you do the crop by just clicking anywhere in the cropped area and dragging...

When you are happy... click image/crop

might be a better/easier way but I'm not aware of it...perhaps someone else is
