VHS to DVD
I got a hardware thing to change VHS to DVD, it works very well except that on best quality, I can only record 17 min at a time, and at low quality, can do 2 hours at a time, What can I do to make it so I can do more at a time?

Got windows XP, 2.8 ghz, Pentium 4, ram 512, 100 GB HD

If I upgrade more ram, would that help? Thx for your help

Can you better define what "a hardware thing" might be?

Is your limitation the amount of data that will fit on the DVD, or what other parameter is causing the limit?
