Floppy Storage
I have dozens of photos stored on 120 mg floppy discs but cannot access them. When I try to open the disc I get the message "the disc is not formatted. Do you wish to format it now?". Whether yes or no I cannot get to the photos. How can I bypass the format process??? Help!!!!! Bill

For a start, the last thing you want to do is format them as this effectively wipes all info on the disks.

Floppies can be very fickle at times. Sometimes they will work in one machine and not another so try them in 2 or 3 different pc's and if you do recover them write them to cdr.
