Airbrushing?
Is there software available that can airbrush skin flaws out of pictures? (at an amateur level)

Any decent image editor has an airbrush tool. You will also have a smudge tool and a clone tool. Most people prefer the clone tool for removing blemishes. This freeware will do all of that: http://graphicssoft.about.com/gi/dyn...ifsoftware.com

You might try the free version of Neat Image. It does an incredible job on blemishes by just messing with the settings. The demo is considered freeware since it doesn’t expire. http://www.neatimage.com/download.html

There is also CleanSkinFX that you can get for free from here.

Also you have two choices:
-a Stand-Alone version or
-Photo-Brush XTR plug-in version.

I prefer the combo of MGI Photo Suite and an old version of PSP (made for Win 3.1). the MGI I use for cutting and pasting and the PSP for airbrushing and matching.
