downloaded PSP8 wrong???
Hi everyone, I popped in the Photoshop8 disc and the computer did all the rest until close to the end there was a box that popped up and said something about formating, I picked select all...it changed all my pictures and gifs to photoshop icons so I figured that wasn't right and uninstalled it, reinstalled it this time when the box came up I selected only psp files.
Now whenever I make a picture on PSP and go to save it, it rewrites the origanal one. It doesn't matter where I save it or what I name it....it rewrites and I lose the orignal one I started with.

Also another problem I am having is that I downloaded some tubes from the net, saved them to the picture tube file , but they do not come up in PSP.
(I downloaded about 20 and 2 went in and the rest didn't)

do you use the Save or the Save As button? in the Save As box you can select what type of file you want to create under the Format box

Hi ohheck, I use the save as button and tried to change the name of the file and save it to floppy instead of "my pictures where the origanl comes from, and it will save the new image in both places(the floppy and my pictures) overwritting the original....if I don't ok the overwrite, it won't let me save
