InCD reader problem
Hi,

I have a CD-RW disc containing photographs but when i opened it I was advised to download latest InCD reader. I have now downloaded InCD reader twice but can't find it anywhere in programs. When i open the disc i get the same message to download the reader.

Can anyone one help?

Downloading it is not the same as installing it though.

The file you downloaded will probably be "InCD4Reader.exe"

You need to locate this file (it will be in a folder somewhere that you downloaded it to) and double click the file to run it and install it.

sorry, should have been clearer. I have installed it and it it is there in my programs when i go to add/remove programs, or when i click on the exe icon it offers to update the program to the same version, so seems as though it is there. But no icon in the system tray and i get the same message when i click on the disc.

What format was used by the creator of the CD-RW?

Just as a comment, CD-RW is one of the "flakiest" mediums to ever be invented, its less than reliable.

Assume that your CD drive is recent enough to actually read RW disks (very early drives could not)?
