No contact
I do not seem to make any contact between my camera and USB. Icon does not appear on the task bar. Have reinstalled USB driver, but nothing happens.
Sure could use some advice. Thanks

possibly a print-spool error or imaging services turned off in services....check both .

Thanks for your response, but I am new at this, and I am at a complete loss when you mention that I should check for a print spool error or check to see if the imaging services have been turned. Where do I begin? Thank you again.

Win 98 is weak for USB support. Many devices will work with 98SE but not with Win 98. Is there a specific driver for Win98? Might you be trying to use the SE driver?

An icon will not necessarily appear on the taskbar. It sounds like you might have had this camera working before. Look in My Computer for a separate drive letter that is a “removable drive” or “camera”.

To the best of my knowledge the print spooler has nothing to do with your camera connection and imaging services isn’t a Win 98 function.
