fuji finepix - pc does not 'see' it when connnected via usb
just bought a finepix cp-fxa10 rechargeable cradle which also enables downloads of pics directly from it. It hooks up to my pc via a USB cable. For some reason though my computer is not seeing it. any suggestions?

Just to be clear, you are saying XP does not recognise the cradle?

Are you also saying that it will not recognise the camera when using the cradle? (the cradle itself is just a USB cable, only the camera should be recognisable, not the actual cradle)

cradle/camera
yes - i mean the camera. The Usb cable will only fit the cradle though, not the camera directly. I have found that I should have received a camera adapter along with the cradle - however i did not. ALthough, I don't see what good that would do as it only appears to be a piece of plastic.

Did you install the software that came with the camera?

xenocide72: i'm sure you know that the camera has to be turned on, the batteries have to be charged enough to power the camera. Did you try that?
