Should be in the instruction manual. Look in the back index for macro and find what pages talk about it and you should have button some where if you have macro. I couldn't find that model on the Olympus site under the C series. I you don't have the manual you can find it on the Olympus site to look at so dig around. I have the C3000 and I have a little button on the back with a tulip flower picture and when I push that and make sure I see the tulip in the settings screen I know I am in macro. I think most cameras use this tulip flower icon to identify macro if I am not mistaken.
