GIMP Pango error
I have just installed GIMP2.2.7 on my Windows98SE with 512KB RAM, using GTK+ 2.6.7. After getting the sans serif warning mentioned in the FAQs, I duly changed all the fonts to Tahoma.

Now, when I try to open The GIMP, I get the warning "Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs-> 0) aborting..."
and The GIMP closes.

Can anyone give me any advice, please ?

I get the same error running GIMP 2.2 on win98. I see it when I try to save as a file to the native gimp format, and need to find the proper folder. Any Ideas?
