Lots of luck tracking them down.

Digitrex is an Australia-only brand which graces a lot of cheapo DVD players. Your standard Chinese-made all-zone DVD/MP3 CD/audio CD/VCD/SVCD/JPEG CD/on a sesame seed bun units.

In Europe and the USA, these same DVD players are sold under the Hiteker and Apex brands, respectively; Apex is the company that actually makes the things. The Digitrex site is apexdigital.com.au.

But there are no cameras in the Apex product line. Or in the Hiteker line, for that matter. So the "Digitrex" cameras are presumably made by someone else, who no one knows.

Why don't you just E-mail them and ask for their address. It's probably not going to be here in the U.S and it's probably going to cost more to fix than it's worth. See if you can take it back where you bought it and complain and get a refund then get a decent name brand camera and you will have better luck. I have seen so many complaints about these cameras on the net. They work for a bit then they fail and there is no tech support.

A lot of people buy these from E-bay Ask her if she bought it at an actual store and if she did contact the store and they might be able to give you an idea on what to do. Camera repairs can be very costly especially for digital.

Tracing the Digitrex Website, the company is in Croatia. They may have staff there perhaps.

If you have an expectation that companies such as these actually maintain an office in countries that they sell in, then its probably going to be a disappointment. Lower end consumer electronics is seldom actually repaired, its replaced if in warranty in most cases.
