My fujifilm camera problem
Ive had my fujifilm camera for ages and recnetly i havent been able to get images from it, the camera knows its connected because it says dsc on the lcd screen. I have done the autoplay thing and that didnt work. The camera is not on the device manager and I have reinstalled the driver so many times i cant count.

This may not be of relavance but all my xp start bar at the bottom of the screen has gone to windows 98 style in a grey colour. This may not be of relavance. Also i have had to go in to services a number of times to turn on my speakers because itunes wasnt playing music and i have also had to go into it to update windows.
Should i just turn everything in services to Automatic??

Cheers

Have you done a virus scan? Have you tried the fuji on a different computer?

I have a FinePix A205 which my PC cant find. All the drivers have been updated and the Fuji software including their USB driver. It doesn't matter which USB port it is connected to. The batteries are brand new, The camera has been checked OK by Fuji. There are no viruses in my computer. Fuji support is useless.

With the camera connected and turned on, have you checked My Computer to see if there is a “Removable drive” or “Camera” listed as a drive? If it is there you can download directly from the drive to the computer.

You said you tried the autoplay thing but do you mean just enabling it or did you try the MS Autoplay repair wizard
