i was wondering if you can do a green screen technique with adobe photoshop? i think its called chroma key, or something like that, im sure somebody knows.

If you're talking about cutting out a solid-colored background, you can do it with the magic wand tool, and about 500 other ways. The term chroma key usually refers to video, so it probably wouldn't be mentioned in anything related to Photoshop.
