webcam and digital camera question?
is it the higher the megapixels the better the picture?

to some extent - however, that depends on the output
if you are going to display on a screen 800x600 pixels
then theres no point in having a camera that gives 8000x6000 pixles

the same goes for printing however, PPI makes a difference here

so whats the final ouput you want to use the camera for

I would be using it on a 1024 x 768 or higher on my apple ibook.
I just want something that gives me a really nice clear and crisp picture

1024 x 768 = that does not need much of a Mp range - the clear and crisp image will be done to the qaulity of the lens not the Mp

what Mp's makes/models are you looking at

Im looking for a cheap, High quality, something that gives me a really nice clear and crisp picture webcam.
