pdf, gif, jpg. What's the difference?
Acrobat Reader
Hi, Is it possible to open any file in acrobat reader,
other than, pdf? I tried opening a gif, jpg, in adobe,
but it's always rejected. Can this be done?

not that I know of
PDF is designed to be read by acrobat reader and gif and jpg are images and designed to be opened by image editor programs like photoshop, irfanview etc etc

Hi, etaf, I was trying to transfer an image to, acrobat, so i could, thumbnail it, resize it, etc. It's got a feature under the view tab, that says thumbnail view. I was going to try it, but ,
the images won't transfer. chuck.

i use a number of different methods for this
try irfanview
www.irfanview.com
free editor - has a batch facility - slide show etc

sorry no idea about acrobat reader - all i ever do is read pdf's with it
