How Do I Get Full Screen Mode with WMP Win98 version ? ?
Hey Gang,

I have a movie that shows up really well in Windows Media Player Win98 version. I don't know if that's the real title, but its the version of WMP that came installed with Windows 98.

Anyway, I'm having difficulty getting it to play in Full Screen Mode. Does anybody know how to get this in to play in full screen?

Are there any shortcut keys like cntl + enter or something like that?

HULK!

It's ALT+ENTER - well, in versions 9 (for Win98, ME, 2K & XP) & 10 (XP only), and I presume it's the same for earlier versions. Get version 9 here if you want
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

OR get Media Player Classic (faster than newer versions of WMP, but with more features) from here

Thanks lister,
But for some reason WMP classic doesn't show the same quality as the version of Wmp I'm using. I don't know if its ver. 1 or 2. I just know its located in Windows and its called:

MPlayer.exe

Thanks HULK

I think classic is 6.2. If you recently upgraded it it will be 9.0, otherwise I think it will be 7.0. You can confirm the version by going to the Help > About section in WMP.

wow, your system resources are low... lol unless you ahve other programs in the background

I guess it's the original one. The 'Classic" is WMP 6.4

Thanks Tidus,

BTW my resources are low because I had't recycled for awhile. At bootup they at 90%. I guess I use my computer a lot...

I think you misunderstand, Media Player Classic isn't Windows Media Player 6.4 (MPlayer.exe).

It's an open source rewritten version of Windows Media Player 6.4, that supports more formats(DVD inc), has more options and can play both Quicktime and Realplayer files (if the Quicktime and Realplayer Alternative codecs are installed).
