Question Graphics won't email
When I email a message, the graphics I include, like Cloudeight stationery, won't show up. Why???
I run Windows XP Professional & Internet Explorer, the newest one.
Thank-you

What mail client are you using? How are you sending the mails (steps), are these replies for example?
The more information the quicker it will be to find the solution.

Stationery has never been standard between emails. With security at an all time high, I doubt it will be of any value. I have exactly 1 person that I can send stationery to and have it show up properly.

Read everything at the Cloudeight stationery site - they should have all the information you are looking for.

I'm using Local-Tel w/ Internet Explorer. Before that I was using Verizon & had the same problem. I read the message they sent, hit reply, add my stationery, type my message & then click "send." Usually replies, but not always. I might click "Create mail", add my stationery by clicking message, new-using, then click the one I want. After it's added, I click the full-screen option, type my message & then click "send." I have McAfee security set on medium if that could be a factor. Although I have tried setting it to low, but it still wouldn't work. Hope this is a better explanation.
Another thing that I'd like to point out is that I can send it to myself & it works just fine!

Thank-you Sekirt! I checked the Cloudeight website & I had some things I needed to check or uncheck in my tools/options menu. I've done those things & will try to send that stationery again. Maybe I'll get lucky, huh?

I did those things mentioned in Cloudeight. I sent it to my friend & she says that the graphics still don't come thru. However, when she replies to my message, the graphics come through great on my end. But when my mom sends the same to her friends, they don't receive it either. So do I just accept the fact that they don't work? But why do they seem to work for others?

Stationery will work best with Outlook Express as a client (or Outlook). Yahoo! Premium accounts allow stationery, but I don't know the exact details.

Most stationery is HTML. But you can also get wrapped up in javascript and vbscript. While that makes for nice stationery, it also makes it possible for malware code to work. So it is a security risk.

If you got the stationery to work on your computer - then you have to be sure the people you send stationery to, also have the correct settings and an email service or client capable of seeing stationery. As I said, it is very few people that can see stationery.

Several programs will strip the codes, making the stationery look like plain text. Could be anti-virus/firewalls/anti spyware programs. Even some popup blockers will cause problems.

If they don't want to take the security risk, then they won't be able to see it. The only thing to do is experiment and then send stationery only to the people that can see it.
