Solved: need a new camera
i've been shopping around for a new camera.
i only want to spend around 150.00.
nothin too fancy mainly for good clean shots for ebay stuff.
i'm leaning towards hp photosmart m417 or 517.

anyone have any first hand knowledge on these or maybe another option
i should be checking out? at least 5mp.

thanks

Here's a summary of what yo can expect from the HP.
"The bottom line
This no-frills compact offers 5 megapixels for less than $200, but its mediocre image quality and minimal feature set are no bargain."

I agree with Wimpy, terrible camera. I can see people are still seduced by the number of megapixels a camera has. Check out the Canon PowserShot A510------avilable at Dell Home for 169.15

thanks for the info....i'll check out the canon.

it wasn't the pixels that were seducing me, it was the price.

Great suggestion linsky. Will do more and be better at it than the HP.
