Vanishing labels in my pictures window....
I've been asked why the thumbnail names have vanished on my neighbours PC. He opens <my pictures> with the thumbnails type of display selected, but the labels of folders and of any images are not displayed. The pictures and sub-files are displayed OK. Any view other than thumbnails within my pictures shows the picture details OK.

I'm stumped. Has a box been unchecked somewhere? I cannot reproduce it om my PC, but I don't use mirrored files normally. This incident will introduce him to Tech Support Guy.......!

Tell him to go to another view type, eg:list, then hold the shift key down while selecting thumbnail view.
