Exclamation Pinnacle DVD Burning Trouble
I have been trying for weeks to burn a movie I made on Pinnical Studio to DVD. Thanks to you guys I finally got past the rendering problems and it now finnishes and burns to dvd. The problem is it keeps skipping the first 7 min. of the movie. When it is rendering it starts at the beginning througn both cycles but when it come to the burning I only get the last 20 min. What is the deal?

What kind of media are you using? DVD-R, DVD+R---who is the mfgr. Last but not least, can you play the mpeg file on your computer and does it skip when you do?

I dont know if you have tried this, and I assuming you have Pinnacle Studio 10---but try rendering at the CBR setting---Constant Bit Rate) If you are running version 10, you will need to go to your registry entry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Pinnacle Systems/Studio 10/Make Disc/CBR. Change the entry from 0 to 1.

If you are running an earlier version there should be a check box in the video settings page for CBR. By the way, Studio is a horrible product. Very buggy, lots of complaints (particularly about version 10)
