downloading not in sequence
When I download from camera to "My Pictures", the pictures in the folder are totally out of sequence. It's a tremendous job to rename and renumber each one.

Camera: Kyocera Finecam SL400F
Dell computer Dimension 2350
Windows XP
Downloading is with the "Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard"

Any ideas?

What happens if you access the camera via "My Computer" ... and copy the images from the Camera to a folder ?

download not in sequence
what do you mean?

That's precisely what I do (I think).
When I plug in the camera, a window pops up (Removable Disk F) and asks me whether I want the pictures loaded onto my computer; and from then it proceeds automatically.

Try this:
Open "MY Pictures">>open the folder you have downloaded from your camera>>click "view" in the toolbar menu>>arrange icons by>>picture taken on.

Sounds like you're using AutoPlay and Windows "Scanner n Camera Wizard".
For a couple of reasons - I don't do it that way.
I'm guessing the Camera Wizard may be renaming them ... from your description.

If Xgerry's suggestions don't help ... Try this ...

When the Auto Play window pops up .. Cancel it.
Go to "My Computer" ... find your Camera (Removable Disk F) ... and click on it.
Browse your Camera ... find the pictures .. Select them - and do a COPY.
Open a "New Folder" on your desktop ... and PASTE the pictures in it.

Are they in Sequence now ? ...
They should be sequentially named as you took them ... By the Camera.

THANK YOU!
Both methods work.
