Unhappy Solved: stampajo
I bought a mini JVC digital video camera and I am trying to download the film cassette onto a dvd disk thru my computer. I have no disk from JVC only the cable to connect to the computer. When I connect the computer can not find a new hardware.
Can someone please help me to get the movie onto a DVD?

You have to use something like Windows Movie Maker to capture the video. You also have to connect it using Firewire, not USB. You shouldn't need the CD that came with the camera, especially if you have Windows XP.
