Burned a DVD-R and nothing happened
I took my mini DVD-r from my hitachi dvdcam and burned a copy to a regular sized DVD and when I click on either folder they are identical however the regular size DVD will not play anything. Did I miss a step? Do I need to do something to that disc to make it play? I thought if the mini plays and it is an exact duplicate the regular one should play too.

Any ideas on what I did wrong or what I should do??

TIA

Using Nero or similar, you should burn it as a DVD, not as a collection of files (which is then a data CD). That way the structure will be correct and recognised by the DVD player.

But as you are already getting help here

duplication is just confusing. It would be good if it was all kept in one thread.
