Burning Cd/DVD's From Kodak Easy Share
New user of Easy Share, recommended by a friend? Two points - how do I arrange thumbnails in a specific custom order in an album and get them to stay in that order; then how do I burn that album to an installed Nero Burner rather than the burner Kodak is almost forcing me to purchase?

Thanks

To keep the images in the order required , you'll probably need to rename them i.e. img - 001, img - 002 etc.

Personally, I'd lose the kodak Easy Share, try out Picassa and IrfanView

A lot depends on how you want to view the images on the CD afterwards. Whether it be for PC or TV. Irfan will create a slide show for PC use, but for TV you must keep the images in their native jpg format, so renaming is essential otherwise it will show the lowest number first and so on. Both ways are simple to burn using Nero.

Welcome to the Forum.
There's been several posts about Easy Share here …. and the usual fix is to remove it.

Picasa and Irfanview are quite popular here at TSguy and are both free downloads.
Picasa is more noted for being an Image Organized and Browser.

Irfanview is a very good Image viewer and editor and makes a very good replacement for Windows Image and Fax viewer.

My favorite is Irfanvew and you can get plenty of help with either of them here.

Another quick note...

I just spent 2 hours on the phone with my dad getting the Kod-a-krap
of his computer...

For a large company such as Kodak...it's amazing they can write such a piece of trash for software...
