Paint Shop - Stoke Not Solid Outline
I have something puzzling going on with Paint Shop. I'm using a solid Stroke and a solid Fill - making some logos. No problem before, but now the Stroke instead of being a solid outline is just a series of dots. Am using Vector and have the Antialias turned on. Other than that, I'm really puzzled. I put a sample of what I mean up on my site - http://www.visitmybiz.com/gifs.htm. No ads/popups. Just a clean page with an example of what I'm talking about. Am I overlooking something simple here? Thanx!

Hi chefbrian,
Does it look like that as you're actually working on it within PSP, before saving it?

Does this happen no matter the font you use?

Which version of PSP are you using?
Have you tried the un-install and reintall? I showed my husband what was happening to your fonts.(he's a graphic artist) He says some setting is bit-mapping the font, instead of anti-aliasing it. (of course he's also a Mac user!)
Back in version 7 of PSP, there was a way of re-setting the registry entries for PSP. I'd have to look and see if the same is true for later versions.

Yeah, did the un-install and reinstall routine. Then guess what? No, it wasn't that. What it was, was on the Tool Options - Text, my kids had been monkeying with the settings and had the line style set to dotted instead of a solid line! Man, talk about a hard one to find! That's not one you'll find in the FAQ's or trouble shooting section of the manuals! Had me completely baffled.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Appreciate your input.

That's good! Sounds like my kids!
I was playing with my PSP, and was getting ready come back here and ask you about how the line was set!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
