CD Rom Bug
After inserting a CD in the drive I to "My Computer" and click on the drive. Nothing happens- just get the hourglass. Get the message "program not responding" and to send an error report to Microsoft which I do. Microsoft doesn't have a difinitive answer but suggests running my spyware program, scanning for viruses, and checking for updates from Microsoft which I do but the problem still isn't solved.
Microsoft states there is a problem in the application of the software which is why it is unresponsive.
The CR Rom drive worked when I last used it a couple of weeks ago.
I am using Home XP on a HP computer that is 1yr. old.
Thank you,
Barbara

Is this just one CD doing this or are all of your CDs not reading?
