How can I scan and edit text documents in a windows 98se using an epson 1240U scanner and Works 2000?
The document will scan but it appears much to small for editing text as well as the text when entered ends up between the lines that it should be centered onto. I also have Open Office 2.0 installed but I'm not sure how to capture the image to edit it. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

usually you need OCR software for converting scanned images into editable text. there are many available for purchase, and varying degrees of success rate with the scan coversions
