Unhappy Can't see animated clip art on MySpace
I have a MySpace account and people leave animated clip art under comments. Well for some time now I can't see it moving or can't see it at all. I can see it fine on other peoples computers and I'm using the same browser as they are ( IE ). Someone said it had to do with Sun Jave but mine is updated. I've updated everything I can think of. If anyone can help me I greatly appreciate it.

Have you a 3rd party firewall installed?

Have you checked if it has an ad-blocker (privacy?) - specifically animated ads, if so try disabling it.

That's the trouble with ad blocking software, it's indiscriminate. The filters are based on image size, type... even the name of the directory on the server. For example many ads use a coomon size so ad blockers will block images of those dimensions, all images though. It has no way of knowing if it's an ad or content.
