what are you using the card for? if its a camera. first make sure the camera can use a 2gb card. then if it can use that card. try using the camera to reformat it. or it could be a bad card. you could take it back an tell them the problem

Thank-you for the reply and please pardon my lengthy delay in response. I have figured out what I neede to do. My camera (HP 735) did not support cards over 1gig. So the camera would partition the card at 1gig so it could be used and the other 1gig was unavailable.

What I did was download a program called killdisk and reformatted the 2 gig SD card like it was new and it fixed the problem. Formatting VIA windows on the SD card did not work. I even put the card back into the HP camera after doing this and I was delt another helping of the same problem. Killdisk solves it everytime though. Frusterating but not a total desaster .

Thank-you for your help as it always means alot.
